Abyss Dive Sites
Abyss Dive Center’s list of dive sites include shallow reefs in 25 feet of water that are abundant with marine life such as Yellow Rocks, Sombrero Reef, Samantha’s or The Horseshoe; favorites with divers and fish! Mid to deep reef sites such as The Gap, Sombrero Gardens or Neptune’s are rich with sea life and corals in depths ranging from 40 to 80 feet. For the experienced diver there is the world class shipwreck the Thunderbolt, a World War II cable layer and research vessel. She sets upright in 120 feet of water which hosts as large as Goliath Grouper and small as an Arrow Crab. Shallow wrecks like The Barge, Ivory wreck and The Adelaide Baker provide interesting coral growths and a bit of history to boot!
